pilot hole:
choose a masonry drill bit that matches the diameter of the plastic plug to be used, it is important to match this size very carefully as if the pilot hole is too loose the plug will spin and not be able to expand, too tight and the plug will jam before it is fully inserted.
Insert plug:
when the pilot hole is drilled make sure the depth is 5mm > 6mm deeper than the plug length as this allows for any excess screw length to pertrude, it is a good idea to vacuum any debris from the pilot hole to prevent jamming the plug when inserted.
insert fixing:
use the supplied screw that is matched to the plug and take care to start the screw slowly but firmly to ensure the plug expands giving a strong fixing, it is not necessary to over tighten as the strength is in the expansion of the plug.
